David Shepherd is well known internationally as an artist and an ambassador for wildlife. It was in 1960 that he became a conservationist when he came across over 200 zebra lying dead around a poisoned waterhole in Tanzania. Since then, with the help of his supporters, the David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation (DSWF) has made a big difference by giving away over £4million in grants to save critically endangered animals.
